This is true since when you're intelligent you have to work with others to apply this intellect. You will probably have to teach it to pass it down so it won't be lost. So it is important to have character. If you don't no one will like you or trust you so your intellect will have been for nothing. Plus no one will want to teach someone with bad character. For example a kid who dresses bad and walks into class high says he wants to learn. The teacher won't want to teach him because his character says he doesn't want to learn. But if a respectable student who is dress appropriately and arrives to school on time shows up. The teacher will be more than glad to teach him not because he is smart but because he has good character. So always have a good character it is important in life.
