This is a relate able quote for those in a hole. A hole as in trouble it doesn't matter which type of trouble. Theft, robbery, lies, debt etc.. Everyone has there one hole in which they can't find a solution on how to get out. But Ben tells us that he was tired of living in poverty which was his hole in life. He said it was a choice to be in that hole and to get out he would have to work hard. Just like anyone would to get free of their trouble. There is no other way we must work hard and want to get out of the hole. If we can't do that then we are stuck there for life. So make up your find and work hard to get out of your hole.
